UIC-2024 vehicle-mounted passenger counter is applied into automatic statistics of the number of passengers getting on or off bus vehicle. The number of passengers is displayed on the built-in LCD display screen. The display screen data can be saved for over 2 years under the circumstance of outage. The passenger data can be reset with the key switch in order to prevent from artificially destroying data integrity.
The counter only displays the number of passenger getting on or off,that is count one direction.it is the difference with UIC-2025,UIC-2025 counter has two lcd display,can count and display the passengers number of two direction.

2.The distance of counter and baffle board is 3m
Respectively install UIC-2024 passenger counter and baffle-board at the two sides of the bus door. Counter needs to be installed on the right side of getting into direction.
When there no passengers going on or off, the infrared signal launched by the UIC-2024 passenger counter is reflected back by baffle board and the infrared signal strength is strong enough to penetrate through the glass of bus door. Therefore, UIC-2024 vehicle-mounted passenger counter and baffle-board can be installed behind the glass of bus door, but it’s necessary to purchase door switch in case of errors arising from the activity of bus door.
When the passengers keep out the infrared signals while getting on or off, UIC-2024 vehicle-mounted passenger counter will count the number of getting on or off according to the direction that the passengers keep out the infrared signal. The data will be displayed through LCD display screen according to the set direction.
If the vehicle door moves inside,UIC-2024 vehicle passenger counter will begin to count in the process of door opening or closing,which will have effect on exact counting.so door switch is needed to eliminate the effect of door.
Door switch is mounted on the door frame to check the state of door and start or close detecting function of counters.when the magnetic departs from door switch,door opens,the indicator goes off,at this time,counter starts counting function.it will begin to count when passenger pass.otherwise,the indicator flashes.

2. UIC-2024 vehicle-mounted passenger counter is installed at one side the bus door that is as high as 800-1300mm away from the footboard of the bus door; in case that the car door is equipped with the multi-step footboard with large slope,
it is necessary to reduce the installation height. It should be installed according to the actual gesture chest height of the passengers when getting on the car, but it should not be installed in the position with the scope of the activity of the door leaf of the vehicle.
3.Installation of baffle-board
After completing installation of passenger counter, install baffle-board according to the position corresponded by that of passenger counter. Baffle-board is applied to reflect the infrared beam launched by the passenger counter in order that the passenger counter could detect the infrared beam signal. The infrared beam is invisible light.Whether the baffle-board is in the correct position or not can be determined according to the two indicator lamps on the counter panel, which is as shown by the following situation:
When baffle-board is within the scope of infrared beam, the two action indicator lamp on the passenger counter panel will be off, through which whether the baffle-board is in the correct position can be determined.
4. The distance between the baffle-board and the passenger flow counter should not longer than 3000mm.
5. Count testing
When the passengers get on the car and pass by the testing side between the passenger flow counter and baffle-board, the counting indicator lamp of the passenger counter will flash once and the counting indicator lamp will indicate according to different walking directions.
